Bees Deal Rainiers 6-3 Loss
The Salt Lake Bees defeated the Tacoma Rainiers, 6-3, in Pacific Conference action at Cheney Stadium. Salt Lake pitcher Tyler Lowry had a standout performance. Lowry went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 8-8. Ryne Nelson earned the save for Salt Lake, his 1st of the year.

Salt Lake used a well-timed hit by Hudson Haskin to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Bees ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Tyler is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Salt Lake manager Mike Martin Jr..

Salt Lake raised its record to 66-49 with the win.
