Good production from right fielder Joe Kopriva helped the Colorado Springs Sky Sox topple the Wichita Wind Surge, 5-4. Kopriva was 5 for 6 with a double and 4 singles. He drove in 2 runs for the Sky Sox. Colorado Springs reliever Tristan Hatfield picked up the win to move to 3-2. Gerald Montgomery suffered the loss. Colorado Springs occupies last place in the American Conference North at 56-64.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Kopriva hit a fastball from Gerald Montgomery for a run-scoring single. The Sky Sox, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Kopriva.
