Behind a fine performance from Donald Taylor, the Round Rock Express knocked off the Wichita Wind Surge, 9-2. Taylor went 4 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Express. Javier Martínez, the winner, improved to 6-8. He held the Wind Surge to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 4. Joe Guthrie recorded the save, his 1st.
