Storm Chasers Take Down Redbirds, 5-2
The Omaha Storm Chasers faced a tough opponent in Memphis pitcher Juan Sánchez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at AutoZone Park by a final score of 5-2. Sánchez went 9 innings and allowed 2 runs. Reliever Hayden Mullins picked up the win. His record improves to 9-3. Gavin Miller took the loss. Today's win puts Omaha at 65-64, while Memphis falls to 59-70.

Omaha used a clutch hit from Shawon Dunston Jr. to get the win. The right fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Storm Chasers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Dunston Jr. told the Omaha Times.
