Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Sky Sox
Colorado Springs took on Round Rock in front of a lively crowd.

No one was more impactful than Everson Pereira in the 5-2 Colorado Springs win over Round Rock. Pereira, who is tied for 4th in the AC in hits with 115, was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Keegan Thompson collected his 1st save.

Colorado Springs used the timely hitting of Troy Stellato to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sky Sox on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Stellato.

Colorado Springs now owns a record of 63-67.
