The Albuquerque Isotopes handed the Sacramento River Cats a loss at Isotopes Park. The final score was 5-4. Roberto Sierra was one of the major contributors for Albuquerque. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Isotopes improve their record to 65-71 with the win over Sacramento.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Albuquerque shortstop Bill Weaver, facing Rafael Pérez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Isotopes the 5-4 win.
