Erie SeaWolves starter Jonathan Becker was in fine form as he helped his team beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 2-0. The win puts the SeaWolves at 32-38, while the Flying Squirrels drop to 39-31.

Jeff Poe, the 23-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Poe contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Erie up, 2-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Becker said after the game.
