Trenton picked up a win at Mercer County Waterfront Park, bumping off the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-1. Pitcher Rhett Lowder was a major reason the Thunder emerged victorious. Noah Dean recorded the save, his 15th. Trenton, with the win, sits at 28-57.

Brayden Thomas helped out the Trenton cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the third baseman was 1-3 with a double and a walk.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Lowder told the Trenton Observer.
