Dominant Performance by McGreevy in Richmond Win
The Richmond Flying Squirrels topped the Trenton Thunder, 2-0, in Eastern League action at Mercer County Waterfront Park. The standout performance belonged to Richmond pitcher and San Clemente, California, native Michael McGreevy. Jason Kramer converted his 12th save in 12 tries. With the win, Richmond upped its record to 47-39.

McGreevy, who dominated for Richmond, earned the victory to move to 6-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 8. Trenton batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Enjoyed this one," McGreevy told the Richmond Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
