Ryan Hughes was a major contributor to the 5-0 Richmond win over New Hampshire. The Flying Squirrels right fielder went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. With the win, Richmond upped its record to 57-43.

With Richmond leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Hughes hit a fastball from Seth Corry for a 2-run double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 3-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hughes told the Richmond Chronicle.
