Thunder Lose to Fisher Cats in Walk Off
Trenton wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher José Hernández, falling to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 4-3. Hernández threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. New Hampshire reliever John Meyer picked up the win to move to 4-5. Jared Southard suffered the loss. New Hampshire, now 49-61, holds down 5th place in the North.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when New Hampshire center fielder Kent Miller, facing Jared Southard, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Fisher Cats the 4-3 win.

"It was a solid team effort," said Miller after the game.
