|
The Bowie Baysox downed the Portland Sea Dogs, 7-2. The hitting star was right fielder Alvin Guzman. Guzman was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Baysox. Bowie has now won 4 in a row.
Guzman had a critical at-bat in the bottom of the seventh for Bowie, coming through with a run-scoring single to put Bowie in front, 3-2.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Guzman.
