The Bowie Baysox did just enough to sneak past the Altoona Curve, 3-2, at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Bowie pitcher Joey Adams, in particular, had a standout performance. Anthony Gordon got the save, his 4th in 4 chances. The Baysox have an impressive 75-42 record.

Romain Gautier, the 25-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Gautier contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the second inning to put Bowie up, 3-0.

"Joey is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Bowie manager Matt Tuiasosopo.
