A Day for the Record Books: MacMichael Hits 4 HR
Phil MacMichael of the New Britain Rock Cats had a history-making game today against the Erie SeaWolves, clobbering 4 home runs in an awesome display of power in the 21-2 Rock Cats victory.

The New Britain first baseman went 4-for-6, had 9 RBIs and scored 5 times in the game.

"There have been a few times when I consciously tried to hit one out," said MacMichael later. "It doesn't often work, but it did today for the last one. I guess this day was just meant to be."

Phil MacMichael hit a solo-shot off Dillon Branch in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off David Burns in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Gustavo DalSoglio in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Armando Carvajal in the 8th.

This season MacMichael is batting .285 with 61 RBIs, 39 runs scored and 19 home runs.
