6-4 Loss to SeaWolves Extends New Hampshire Losing Streak
The Erie SeaWolves took New Hampshire pitcher Darrell Pugsley's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Jerry Uht Park. The final score had Erie getting past the Fisher Cats, 6-4. Pugsley went 5.2 innings and allowed 5 runs, striking out 6. Tyler Waddell nailed down his 29th save. New Hampshire has now lost 11 consecutive games.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Chris Cotton was at the plate when Erie scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the SeaWolves to go in front, 5-4.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Cotton told the Erie Daily.
