The 11-10 Altoona win over Bowie was due in large part to Aaron Sabato. The Curve first baseman belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. Today's win puts Altoona at 71-57, while Bowie falls to 73-55.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Altoona right fielder Rodrigo Abril, facing Randy Swing, had a run-scoring catcher's interference. It gave the Curve the 11-10 win.

In postgame comments to the Altoona Times, Sabato said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
