Fisher Cats Suffer 5-2 Setback
|
Getting an impressive start from Micah Wilson, Portland beat New Hampshire by the score of 5-2. The win makes Portland 63-69.
Portland used a timely hit from Bryce Perkins to get the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Sea Dogs ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We played hard and won," said Wilson. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
