The Binghamton Rumble Ponies picked up a win at NYSEG Stadium, taking down the Erie SeaWolves, 9-5. Starting pitcher Colton Eastman was a big reason why. Binghamton has a record of 76-57, placing them first in the North.

In the bottom of the third, Avery Southall hit a 2-run double. The 12th double of the season for the Binghamton shortstop put the Rumble Ponies on top, 4-2.

Southall told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
