New Hampshire pitcher Seth Corry did his part in helping his team beat the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 4-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Corry went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 4-4. Johnny Corrigan was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.

Burton Moore, the 27-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Moore contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put New Hampshire up, 2-0.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Corry told the New Hampshire Observer.

The 5th-place Fisher Cats are now 60-75, the Flying Squirrels 73-62.
