Fisher Cats Suffer 3-1 Setback
|
Binghamton starter Jonah Harris had a strong outing against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. Darwinzon Hernandez converted his 9th save in 9 tries. With the win, Binghamton pushed its record to 77-59.
Binghamton needed the clutch hitting of Jacob Teter to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rumble Ponies on top, 3-1. For the game, Teter had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I liked his command," said Binghamton manager Oliver Marmol. "Jonah was throwing strikes."
