Extra-Inning Win by Rumble Ponies Over Fisher Cats

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies had to overcome a fine effort from New Hampshire pitcher Corey Sullivan to grab a narrow 3-1 win at NYSEG Stadium. Sullivan went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The win belongs to Nolan McLean in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Roger Cameron took the loss for New Hampshire. The win gives Binghamton a record of 7-4.
Binghamton won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Roger Cameron on the mound for New Hampshire, third baseman Orelvis Martinez hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Rumble Ponies fans to their feet.
In postgame comments, Martinez said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
