Late Magic Gets Akron 6-4 Win
The Akron RubberDucks topped the Altoona Curve by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was center fielder Félix Lugo. Lugo went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the RubberDucks. Matt McSwain earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-0. The save was credited to Jacob Kostyshock, his 3rd.

Akron used a timely hit from Kristian Robinson to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the RubberDucks ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Lugo told the Akron Herald: "I was born for the big stage."

The win puts Akron at 6-6.
