Howard Helps Minnesota Cruise to 11-1 Win
Minnesota catcher Chad Howard made his presence felt in the 11-1 Twins triumph over the Baltimore Orioles. Howard went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win brings the Twins to 6-10, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

With Minnesota leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Howard hit a slider from Seaver Sheets for a bases-clearing double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Twins ahead, 4-0.

"Feels good to get the job done," Howard said after the game.
