Adams, Bowie Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Prince George's Stadium was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

The Bowie Baysox topped the Erie SeaWolves, 2-0, in Eastern League action at Prince George's Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Bowie pitcher and Greenville, South Carolina, native Joey Adams. Ryan Sims sewed up the save, his 1st.

Adams scattered 3 hits over 7.1 innings for the Baysox. With the win, Adams goes to 3-0 on the year with 18 strikeouts.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Adams.
