Bobby Witt Jr. took Winter Developmental League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.

For his spectacular campaign, the WDL AL East star has been named the 2021 Winter Developmental League WDL MVP recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the shortstop.

On the season he compiled a .327 batting average to go with a .426 on-base percentage. The native of Colleyville, Texas also added 6 doubles, no triples, 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 22 runs scored.

He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 6. Nick Pratto of the WDL NL East finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Enrique Bradfield of the WDL AL Central finished third.
