Guerrero Jr. Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, March 30th , 2024 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Arizona's 8-6 win over Colorado today, right fielder Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Chase Field. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Guerrero Jr. said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Lawrence in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
