Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Cowart Thursday, April 4th , 2024 Kaleb Cowart continued his streak at Target Field today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Minnesota third baseman was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Twins were not as fortunate, losing 11-6 to the Cleveland Guardians. "Cowart was hitting everything we threw at him," said Cleveland manager Rocco Baldelli. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Kaleb Cowart grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. In 2024 Cowart has hit at a .320 clip with 8 hits, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and has scored 4 times. |
