Dodgers End Cowart's Streak Monday, April 8th , 2024 Kaleb Cowart, third baseman for the Minnesota Twins, gave it a good try, but his time chasing history came to an end when he went hitless in 3 tries against the Los Angeles Dodgers today. Not only did the Dodgers break his 22-game hitting streak, they also beat Minnesota by the score of 16-6. "Now that the streak has ended, I can admit I'll breathe a bit easier the next time I step up to bat," Cowart said, speaking with the media after the game. "It was tough because I put a little pressure on myself. Now that it's over, I will definitely be a little bit looser at the plate." This season Cowart has hit at a .297 clip and produced 10 runs batted in, 3 home runs and 5 runs. |
