Detroit Swaps Kloffenstein to Pittsburgh for Scalise Friday, July 8th , 2022 The Tigers and Pirates have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 21-year old minor league RHP Adam Kloffenstein, 21-year old minor league 3B Gee Scott Jr., and 22-year old minor league CF David Larkin going to Pittsburgh in exchange for 27-year old RHP Chris Scalise. This year Scalise has fashioned a 6-4 mark, 2.83 ERA and pitched 108 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .219 against him and he has logged 96 strikeouts. |
