Toronto Takes Divisional Series in Deciding Game Thursday, October 14th, 2021 When the entire season comes down to one game, Giancarlo Stanton said you find out what a team is really about. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Stanton, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Stanton hit .333 with a .375 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Toronto Blue Jays will play against the Seattle Mariners in the next round.
