5-Hit Blitz by Nelson Tuesday, April 23rd , 2024 Gunnar Nelson was unstoppable, but the Omaha Storm Chasers were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Wichita Ballpark today, the Storm Chasers lost 7-6 to the Wichita Wind Surge. Nelson battered Wichita for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Nelson just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits."
