Injury Shuts Down Simpson for Season Wednesday, August 16th , 2023 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Oklahoma City Dodgers: center fielder Ted Simpson is out for the year. Simpson suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament on 08/13/2023. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. Simpson is hitting at a .310 mark this season. His stats show 19 home runs, 66 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has played 103 games for the Dodgers. |
