Richardson and Austin Brawl, League Suspends Them Monday, August 21st , 2023 Travis Richardson of the Wichita Wind Surge and Mike Austin of the Round Rock Express will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 3 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Wind Surge-Express game at Wichita Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Richardson and Austin will begin serving them soon. This season Richardson is hitting .229 with 6 home runs. On the year, Austin has recorded 15 saves with a 2-1 record over 54 innings. He has mowed down 71 batters on strikes and walked 16 with an ERA of 3.83. |
