Storm Chasers Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 8th , 2023 Looking at the bigger picture, Francisco Alvarez of the Omaha Storm Chasers said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2023 season. Omaha last appeared in the postseason in 2021. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 9 times in their 12 - year history. |
