Memphis Sweeps into the Championship Wednesday, September 13th , 2023 The Oklahoma City Dodgers were simply overmatched by the Memphis Redbirds in the Round 1. The end result was a sweep, as Memphis has cruised to the Championship, with the final win coming at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark by a score of 6-3. "We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Jasson Dominguez, who was named MVP of the Round 1. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this." For the series, Dominguez hit .455 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Memphis Redbirds will play against the Salt Lake Bees in the next round.
