Season Ends for Morreale Wednesday, June 28th , 2023 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Akron's Nick Morreale to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 06/26/2023 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Morreale said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Morreale has been out of action since he suffered a torn meniscus. This season Morreale has claimed 2 saves and registered a 0-1 record with a 2.90 ERA. He has 21 relief appearances spanning 31 innings and has struck out 42. |
