Ornelas 5-for-5 for Lakeland Sunday, August 16th, 2020 Juan Ornelas of the Lakeland Flying Tigers went on a hitting spree today against the Brevard County Manatees pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Manatees put a damper on his day and prevailed 4-3 over the Flying Tigers. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Juan Ornelas doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Victor Banks in the 9th.
