Season Done for Alvarado Tuesday, June 21st , 2022 Pedro Alvarado has to call it a season. The Williamsport Crosscutters starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 06/19/2022 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a bone spur in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. The team will likely place Alvarado on the injured list today. To date this year, Alvarado shows a 0-2 record, 1 starts, 13.1 innings, 13 strikeouts and a 5.40 ERA. |
