He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Mark Walls performed like a veteran on the hill for the Brooklyn Cyclones and walked away with the New York-Penn League Pitcher of the Year Award in the process.
The 21-year-old Cyclones star fashioned a 5-2 won-loss record in 2023 with a 0.94 ERA. In 48 innings of work and 8 starts, Walls struck out 34 while giving up 26 hits and 10 walks. He held opposing batters to a .152 average.
