PIO Announces Outstanding Batter Award Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Eric Brown may be much younger than other hitters in the Pioneer League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Great Falls shortstop hit .354 with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Brown is hitting .286 this year with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 182 at-bats, 23 walks and a .370 on-base percentage. Brown has played in 62 games. |
