John of Idaho Falls Player of the Week Monday, September 18th , 2023 20-year-old Jason John made a few Idaho Falls headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Pioneer League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .429 average. John collected 1 home run, 4 RBIs and scored 7 runs. So far this season John has hit .266 with 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 34 times. |
