The league has hosted its yearly international showcase featuring top prospects from all different countries. It's the most important time of the year for prospects around the globe, landing the game's best international amateurs onto the radar of scouts across the league.
This year, the following players should be among those drawing the most attention from teams:
LHP Luis Adame, 16 year-old out of Dominican Republic
CF Humberto Aguilar, 16 year-old out of Nicaragua
CF Juan Aguilar, 16 year-old out of Venezuela
3B Juan Aguilar, 18 year-old out of Dominican Republic
C Juan Alvarado, 17 year-old out of Dominican Republic
C Luis Alvarado, 16 year-old out of Cuba
RHP Kussil Amzine, 16 year-old out of South Africa
LF Jorge Aros, 17 year-old out of Dominican Republic
1B Juan Arreguin, 17 year-old out of Dominican Republic
C Jorge Arreola, 17 year-old out of Venezuela
The list of players can now be found on the international amateur free agents screen, but contracts cannot be offered to players until the international signing period begins on 01/11/2047.

It's time to put another MLB season in the ledger. General managers must make key personnel and financial decisions during the offseason. A lot will be happening -- trades or player signings could send shock waves throughout the league. Hirings, firings and retirings will happen over the next several months. But most important, general managers must choose a direction and steer their teams as well as they can toward a championship berth next season.
