Nationals Lose to Cubs in Walk Off
Led by Pete Barutha, the Chicago Cubs downed the Washington Nationals, 7-6. Barutha went 4-6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs for the Cubs. Chicago is in 4th place in the National League Central Division with a record of 18-19.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Chicago catcher Gabriel Cruz, facing Cory Jones, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Cubs the 7-6 win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Cubs manager Mergatroid Skittle. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
