Orioles Lose to Nationals, 4-1
|
Washington starter Danny Diaz pitched well against the Baltimore Orioles at Nationals Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. The save went to Jakub Kvacek, number 11 for him. The Nationals, now 29-13, have won 4 in a row.
The Nationals got a big at-bat from third baseman Marcos Rangel. For the game, Rangel went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Washington a 2-0 lead.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Washington manager Mike Shore.
