The Minnesota Twins had to overcome a fine effort from Seattle pitcher James Woods Jr. to win, 3-2, at Target Field. Woods Jr. went 8.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Minnesota reliever Keith Pratt picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Antonio Lacayo was saddled with the loss. Minnesota has run its win streak to 4 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Stuart Schwartz in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run home run off two-time All-Star Antonio Lacayo to win the game for Minnesota. The home crowd went nuts.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Schwartz. "But we got it done."
