Milwaukee Downed, 3-0, by Giants
|
The San Francisco Giants went home winners at Miller Park, thanks in large part to starter Carlos Alaniz. Alaniz stifled the Milwaukee Brewers, enabling San Francisco to grab the 3-0 win. San Francisco pitcher Drew Rickelman got the win. He's now 3-2. John Sylvester was tagged with the loss. San Francisco is now 25-45, Milwaukee 41-26.
Tyler Lackie provided a timely hit. The San Francisco center fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Giants on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Jaxon Giants.
