Brewers Fell Rockies, 7-3
|
Brewers shortstop Chiel Palstermans put his stamp on his team's 7-3 win over the Colorado Rockies. Palstermans went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Milwaukee in the contest. The second-place Brewers lifted their record to 38-34.
Had it not been for Josh Froyd, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Brewers were trailing 3-2, Froyd hit a 2-run single for Milwaukee, giving his team the lead.
Palstermans attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
