Seattle's Weisse Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Danny Weisse of the Seattle Mariners. Weisse went on a tear at Rogers Centre and cracked hit after hit off Toronto pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 28-year-old center fielder had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview.

Despite Weisse's personal accolades, the Toronto Blue Jays walked off the field with the 4-2 win.

Danny Weisse singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Justin Sedivy in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

During the current season Weisse is batting at a .235 clip with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 71 games and scored 19 times.
