Brewers Drop Dodgers, 5-2
|
The Milwaukee Brewers got a strong performance from pitcher Drew Rickelman, who stymied the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Dodger Stadium. The losses continue to mount for Los Angeles, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
Milwaukee used a clutch hit from Sakae Kasahara to get the win. The first baseman drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Milwaukee skipper Jaxon Giants.
