Behind Rojas, Athletics Beat Astros, 4-0
|
Oakland starter Franklin Rojas pitched well against the Houston Astros at O.co Coliseum. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-0. The Athletics lead the American League West Division by 15½ games.
Rojas dominated for Oakland, raising his record to 12-4. Houston hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 6.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rojas said after the game.
